Need some tranny ideas

Anyone have any ideas on an auto tranny that would work with the FD and hold power. The trick is that i want to be able to run the Sport RWD class and it says can't crossbreed. What about the 20b trans? Has anyone made any power through one and held? I've got the TH350 in it now but i'm completely left without a class. If i find an alternative i'll try and hit up most of the NHRA schedule and whatever else is out there next season. Otherwise it looks like i'll have to run the quick 16 class in NHRA. Everything else on my car has been changed or upgraded already so this is my last hope to actually have a class to run in.

My cage is grandfathered in already so it's good to 7.50 even though i won't have to worry about that #.

I've heard of people running 9's with a stock 3 speed Mazda (Jatco) automatic. Not the most ideal arrangement, but the argument was "we will run this until it breaks" and the transmission suffered a complete refusal to explode.

Just did a little checking and found out what that's from. I've never even worked on or looked at a stock Mazda auto tranny. Always been the stick or an aftermarket auto. Looks like i have my work cut out for me.

Check on the http://ausrotary.dntinternet.com/forums/index.php look in the technical forums there seems to be quite a few racers running really good times on those Jatco transmissions.
