Need advice for a beginner

I am super new to this so any roasting you wanna do on me lay it on hard please because it will only help me out.

I am 17 and i am starting my dream project but i wanna know what i am doing before i ever do a thing. The knowledge that i have picked up so far is (doing a 3rd gen) that all 3rd gen motors come stock with the twin turbos and they all have the 1.3 rotary motor. I was looking into upgrading that motor but i looked and i saw something about 20b motor???? or something please help me

If inspiration is needed this is a good start.

Part inspiration, part terror. I just bought mine and I haven't got many ideas of which way to go yet. This helped a bit. Thanks.

If your trying to do a DIY 20b swap, then it's all about patience, research, lots of money, and most importantly confidence in yourself. I bought my engine back in 2003 (four months after buying my Fd) with no earthly idea of how I was going to install it. After years of dedicating myself to research, planning, and improving my fabrication skills, I'm finally almost got it rolling the way I planned!
