N/A Power!!!

*So, in my ever changing desicion weather I am going to keep spending money on my N/A, or go with a turbo, I am trying to find out as much as possible about both. This post is obviously all about N/A, and I am looking for feed back, especially from ppl that have had expierience(sp its late) with building street port motors like e-prod race cars and the like.
*I have been reading quite a few posts and articles about getting power out of a N/A rotary. The biggest things that I have found is exhaust and intake pressure wave tuning. There is definatly a large debate over true duals and a collected single exhaust. I am going try both, although I am thinking that the duals will work better due to the fact that it is going to be mandrel bent and tuned, and the single is just off the self pieces.
*My real questions are in the intake manifold. I am deinatly going with a standalone EMS, probably Haltech since I have good local support for it. I don't want to keep the stock intake, and my choice are A)Using a production manifold from racingbeat or mazdatrix etc... with Webber style TB's. B)Using a custom divided and tuned intake with webber style TB's. C)Using a custom divided and tuned intake with the stock TB.
A)Both of these are known for great flow, but neither one seems to be tuned, and also the runners combine with the wrong ports. This is a concearn for me since the secondary and Aux. ports will have very different port timing.
B)This seems to be the best way to go, but also the most expensive.
C)Same as B but trying to save a bit of money, and usually it seems that trying to get good power and saving money dont' go together.
*Anyone see some big holes in my thoughts or just have ?'s about why I always am thinking of this crap?

looks good. at least you are thinking things through.

but if you are going for power, then a streetport may not be the answer.

I think the best intake for an n/a is a TWM(webber style) throttle body with a custom intake manifold. That way you can decide how long you want the runners for the primaries and secondaries. The only problem with this is it can cost big $ if you cant make your own manifold. Also, it's up to you to get the runner lengths right for it to be tuned for the engine, so you better know what you're doing.

I really wanted to go with a bridge port, but this set-up will have to go through Oregons dyno smog test. IF I stay N/A, I will just be going for near 200hp. My deciding factor is just going to be how my car feels after I get it broke in.

200bhp or rwhp? 200bhp can damn near be done on stock ports with all the other mods...but no need for the custom intake manifold, i don't think.
