Mythbusters: Hurley 6 Rotor

It seems that there is more information on Bigfoot than this thing. My impression is that there is in fact no working 6 rotor, no crank, anything.

Does anyone have information that says otherwise?

For a "six rotor" you could even lay eccentric shafts in there so you could fully dress it, and they wouldn't hit each other. I don't think there'd be enough room to do that with a "five".

Just don't let anyone try turning the flywheel or the pullies!

Definitely interesting... According to this guy's page, he visited Hurley in 2001 and saw this mockup engine:

So maybe if they were really serious about it, they could have a running 6-rotor engine by now, seven years later. Squadalah, we are off!

you don't hear about it because it probably sheared E-shafts in half every time they fired it up. Way too much twisting force from end to end... better off going with larger rotors instead of more. IE the 16x

Seriously what would be the point? What could you ever put it in? Its got to be like 3 1/2 feet end to end...
