Question MSD: 6A vs SCI

What is the difference between the MSD ignition control 6A VS. the Sport Compact Ignition (SCI)???? I went to MSD website and from reviewing them both, it just looks like they painted the 6A silver to make it more appealing to Tuners....anyone know anything different?

You may be right. But I believe the SCI is for higher RPM operation . I have a set on my 12A PP as well as a new pair brand new in the box never used.In case you're in the market for some let me know I' ll let them go for a good price.

since this post I've researched more and found the Accel 300+ ignition is better than MSD, Mallory, Crane in the fact that its smaller and has more power output AND draws less power. In the market for a second if someone has one.
