Most HP with NO JUICE !!!
All,
I was just curious, what's the most HP rotaries are making out there with no nitrous.
If I remember correctly Pluto made around 480HP without NOS.
Crispeed?
Just want to have an idea whats the HP these guys are making with NOS.....
Thanks
Anthony

I've seen a certain racer from PR on the dyno do 688RWHP at 38psi with no juice!
My friend's TII made 610RWHP at 32psi and 720RWHP on juice with a T-88.
My race car made 580RWHP at 27 psi and have seen just over 600 when it actually held the boost at 30 psi on the dyno.I'm running 35psi on the track but on the dyno it can never hold that boost level to redline so I don't actually have a power rating at 35psi.

9.20@150mph 1/4
5.91@118mph 1/8

Your numbers don't make sense.... why did you only make 19rwtq more with 6psi more boost??? something doesn't seem right.....

When the car was dynoed at 26psi the exhaust system was on vs open downpipe at 20psi. The reason for that is because I wanted the car tuned as I drove it on the street. Actually at 20psi with the exhaust system on it did 480RWHP.
Steve you know this car because it's the one that Ryan(BOOSTEDRX7) from Orlando last owned. If you remember the car was set up with a blow-thru Holley Carb and turbo and the car was built by crispeed and according to him the carb was at it's flow(CFM) limit and that also was partly to blame for the little incresed in power. The car is presently being converted to Haltech.
If you want you can contact Chris or Ryan for more particulars about the set up.

Thats some pretty impressive figures, but is 522RWHP on 93 octane even possible?? I mean correct me if I'm wrong, thats really pushing it!! And the fact is you ran it at 22psi. Whats your take on this Steve????
I believe the numbers since the car was built by crispeed. Just didn't make sense why it didn't gain anything for the 6psi of boost more. I guess it all comes down to the tuning and the fact that the car is a carb. the inlet is bigger and shorter than intake manifold (i.e. less restricted). The problem is that it gets harder to tune because you're playing with jet size instead of injector duty cycle....

Hey Steve!
If I remember correct since it was a long time ago like back in 1998 it made like 490 at 18psi(wastegate spring) and 551 at 24psi.
Steve you're correct about tuning since it was a carb becauase everytime you change boost you have to fiddle with jets!
That was in the good old days !
It was tuned very rich to be on the safe side. **** we did not even have a wide band back then and the dyno was not free like now!
The car is presently being converted to Haltech using the same custom short runner intake and high flow throttle body.
