looking to swap the exhaust

Ive heard that the best way to increase power is with a better exhaust, and just to start, turbos are out of the question so... Anyways i have an 87 gx, with an aftermarket intake but im not positive on brand or anything. Other than that the engine is stock with ~45k kilometers. Searching around ive found this: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...3&brandid=1363

But also if i were to do this would it be worthwile to replace the headers? beacuse i found these on the same site.. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...1987&partid=24

Please let me know how these would do/ or if they would even be good to invest in

leave that piece of crap alone. if you want an exhaust system, look for other proven systems like Racing Beat. there are others, too, but i'm not totally up on Gen II exhausts. you can trying searching SDJ, Corksport or maybe look for some robust steel pipe and Magnaflow mufflers - whatever you do, just forget that you ever saw PaceSetter.
