lapping irons??

I am going to re lap my irons at RAcing beat and was wondering what clearances this would effect? The only one's that I see would be end play and both stationary
gears would move closer in. What do you do about this?

According to Jim Tanner at RB it will affect nothing, RB will take a max of only 2 thou off the surface.

They want 80 bucks a side x4 = 320bucks!

I would think that .002 on each side x4 = .008. Wouldn't this effect end play and stationary gear clearance?

What do you mean? There are 4 faces that need to be lapped. One front, two middle, and one rear.
