K2RD FD3S Fuel Damper Eliminator

http://www.k2rd.com/products/fuel/1743100.html

Gets rid of stock fuel rail damper on 13BREW primary rail. Costs a lot less than the stock replacement fuel damper.

I know it's been discussed before, but what is the drawback(s) of removing the FPD?

With the primary and secondary fuel rail running one after another, the fuel changes as one set of injectors fire causing a ripple in the full pressure at the other fuel injectors. Not haveing the same fuel pressure means your not injecting the same amount of fuel. Im not sure if its _bad_, from what i understand it would just stop you from making the same amount of power.

Under a high boost where every tiny bit of fuel counts, could see it bing a problem though

The fuel injectors take a beating. However, most people who would use something like that PD eliminator are going to use a good fuel pressure regulator, such as SX, with a built-in pulsation damper.

It wouldn't be a ripple on the next injectors, pressure in liquid is equal on the whole system. There isn't anything to smooth out injector pulses. A lot of people run banjo bolts on FCs instead of our dampers. I haven't seen anything bad happen, yet.

Ever have a sink where you can shut off the water REALLY fast and then hear the pipes bang? That is the same thing, without a damper.
