It's 1:30am Im tired but I just came up with this Idea. Would it be nice to have our own rotary FLAG?. To show case at any type of race event. I could see the rotor some where in the flag waving.. Just an Idea..

AFter an hour photoshopping in the middle of the night,

i came up with this piece of trash.

The basic idea is portrayed tho i think.

Maybe try a checkered flag background with some Mazda company colors?

 

Your a smart man, that is just what I was thinking. A flag that would set us apart in any racing enviorment. From the east coast to the west coast, from Australia to trinidad to Alaska and back to the virgin islands. It would be nice to see the flag up and waving before anything. That would let the competition know we are present and let fellow rotorheads know we are in the house with much pride..

 

Since you know how to play with the pc and pics keep the ideas coming, maybe somebody could come up with such an impressive Idea that we could patent it, and make it happened..

 

I'll get to work on that checkered flag idea.

 

Where is the pic of the "rotor man" pissing on the pistons? That should be our flag....

 

 

We need an internation rotary signal too. Somthing that we can do when we see another rx7 on the road. Me and my friends always do this little thing, take your 2 thumbs and put them together, then tuck your other fingers down, but not your pointer fingers, then point and put your 2 pinter fingers together. that makes a rotor. its great. Ya i want a flag too!

 

Wow that must have been some really good **** you were smokin' when you thought this up! I love the idea.
The idea of putting your thumbs together and trying to rattle off a two-handed signal going down the road sounds a little like break dancing! About the best I could do would be a backwards or upside down peace sign.

As far as a flag there should be a contest between some of our more gifted (as in more gifted than me!) The flag the one guy came up with looks good. I always like to see a whole bunch of ideas though.

pretty kool This idea is looking very good to me.

 

I was just thinking of something simple like having a red or blue backround with a big rotor in the middle. Maybe saying something like Rotary Performance or something like that.

And when I see other people driving around in RX-7s, I usually try and wave at them. Most of the times I just get weird looks :p

 

I'm not too suer what youre saying. I can break dance, Its all really easy for me...

No i totally understand the rotor sign thing, i would do it too, but like he said, its two hands!!! i would be distracted, between other fast cars, hot women, and using two hands to make the sign, i would be totally gone, crashed into some sort of thing or other.

Here is the newest idea, i can change the colors or layer effects of anything on here, so tell me what you want and i'll change it:

 

I'm not usually into flags and waving things. I do think this is an interesting idea as we in the rotary community are very rare. I think this idea should be brought to the Mazda Corporation with their new "Zoom Zoom" image and marketing thrust. If they like it they will probably supply all us rotary freaks with one for free. Might be a good way for them to launch the RX-8. I think that is going to be one awesome car.

Here were some quick concepts...Just using 2 colors...which would be easy for screen printing. I'll try to work on some more
