Padilla had a 20B in there until those Honda loving NHRA whinners outlawed 3-rotors in the all-motor class. He would run 10 flat with a weight penalty and letting off the gas 3/4 down the track . But there is one 3-rotor FD under construction in PR which goals are 8-second all motor timeslips

yeah i forgot about how 20bs practicaly got outlawed because guys like padila were woopin up so badly on the poor littly FWD civics that can only pull maybe 300 hp out of built prelude or gsr motors. they should just make an all motor rwd import class and bump the discplacement cap to like 3.5 for boingers and 2.0 or (20b) for rotors. shoot, that car would be competative against an all motor 350z! but im preaching to the choir......

I predict rotaries will be banned.

We were having a discussion on another forum about this new NDRA Power Street class (full interior, 2300lb minimum weight, 235/60 non-slick max tire size, RWD no power adder, V6 FWD no power adder, 4cyl FWD one power adder) and who would probably dominate it. I don't think the turbo B-series Civics would stand a chance against der rotaries...

Jason runs in the Sport FWD class but in Sport RWD Ali's red Suburu just ran a 9.40@150mph.
