Internal engine mods
Anyone know of any important / necessary mods for 2nd gen motor internals? -- I'm loking for about 300 HP @ the flywheel on my 1990 N/A motor (turbocharged @ about 10 psi?)
Are hardened stationary gears necessary? How about 3mm apex seals, or carbon apex seals?
What are the differences btw. stock apex seals and 2 / 3 piece seals?
Thanks for the info!

1990 N/A w/ a blown motor (it's all disconnected, and i'm pulling it this weekend)

1) porting
2) clean up oil passages in the front side housing
in the oil pump area. There is a lot of bad area there that induces turbulance and also reduce oil flow and pressure.
3)Matchup/round off oil passages where they mate such as; front and rear side housings to their stationary gears.
4) have engine rotational mass dynamically balanced.
5) use a 90+ psi oil pressure regulator
