Intercooler Upgrade : Which one to get for under $1000 (new)

I just want a slight upgrade and would like to retain the stock mount position and limit the IC cost to below $1000. Anybody have the following SMICs? If you do, let me know how you like them and dislike them.

Corksport upgraded IC - $478
SRX7 upgraded IC - $749
Blitz IC - $860

I need help deciding which one to get.

Thanks,
Jason

I had the Blitz. Looks great. Fits good. twice the internal vol. I went front mount for more power. Heres a pic of it installed.

If you can wait for a bit, I'm looking for a deal on a blitz fmic and once that's in I'll cut you a deal on my SR intercooler. It's been real good to me, but the amount of traffic I sit in I want to go fmic and get rid of the heat soak.

newbernd: if you sit in a lot of traffic, Id worry more about overheating with a frontmount than heatsoak with the stockmount. plus if you are in traffic, and not going fast, the frontmount is not gonna do much in the ways of helping anything except to overheat things. just my $.02

Yep.. that's where the koyo will help out.. and yeah, I know.. it'll cool off once I get moving.. but in the summer it seems that once it heats up, it never seems to cool back down.. that, and I'd like something a bit bigger.

The SR is best bang for buck among these. See my related IC comparo at:

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/intercoolers.html

May be able to slip in a 6" spal pull fan for less heat soak in traffic.

Heat Soak comments:

FM has advantage of no core heat soak .... simple fan mod switch will pull air thru it and then rad. SM IC has high heat soak, since fan will actually back flow hot underhood air thru core.
