Smile Installing Midpipe ??

Hi guys !

Some questions to answer PLEASE !! I have a midpipe and are considering installing it to see the difference, but what should I look out for ? what can the results be if not done proberly, I mean what more should I consider upgrade if I will try it ? Right now I have a Petitt downpipe, Racing beat catback exhaust, Petitt cold air induction system, TKT lightned flywheel, HKS SQV Blow off valve, Power FC ECU, the car runs smooth and have a perfect rich air/fuel mixture, boost is 11-12-14 PSI when pushed i 3. gear pulling good and strong. Will it be best to put in a restrictor plate when installing midpipe ? or what will you recommend, or can I just swap it on and see the air/fuel mixture and that it is not leaning out and if, add fuel ? could i get boostcreep or would it be ok not to do anything ?

I think we already answered that to you in the European part of the forum. You have seberal options with midpipe:
1) restrictor plate
2) ported wastegate
3) are lucky and its fine
4) you get boost creep and detonate - blow that 13BREW

And I wouldnt be running 14psi on stock injectors if I were you...

Thumbs up

Thank's Cruiser !

OK, seems one can do several things. How do I make a restrictor plate ? can you buy such one ? what exactly is it and what does it do ? maybe I can find some informations somewhere that you know of ? thank's once again. Take care !
