inline fuel surge tank

Would a little "coke bottle" surge tank that's inline before my fuel pump be good for preventing starvation. I'm doing an FI conversion 12a and its only going to be street driven. its just enough to keep it going when i get a little slosh

It gets very complicated. You need a second pump to feed the surge tank, and the tank ends up having four lines attached to it.

I went for many years without one, and it was fine.
