Red face Injectors cheap

Just got some 1680 injectors from a guy in texas. I paid 300 for 4 of them. They had a ford part# on them so i called ford, since i work at another dealership my cost is 55.00 and retail is 78.00. They fit a Crown Victoria natural gas model yr 2000. Part # is xl3e-c5a.

I bought the Ford Motorsports ones which are for a Natural gas car as well. Part Number : f5te-b5a (280 150-839). They are 1650cc.

~50 bucks each with discount

They are top fed , I aint sure what the 3rd gen Rx7's are and they have a different style wiring connector. Of course you could just change the injector connector but not sure about physical fitment.

WOW i will have to look into those. i was never able to get a straight answer from anyone on what the part number would be. i have paid to much myself now that i see this, and i always thought i was on the lower side of the price. i have a set of rails for 160lb secondaries if interested. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=162060

You can buy bulk fuel rail with 1/2 id from ForceFuelInjection. Its about 5 to 10.00 a foot, they also sell the weld on injector seats.

yeah, shipped. its $215 for a primary AND secondary rail. that $5 cheaper than k2rd's rail that they sell only a secondary, but you are also getting a primary rail. i am including a primary top feed rail for very slightly less than k2rd's that wont work with a top feed primary rail. show me where you can get BOTH for that price without making it yourself. even if you did take the time to plan it out and actualy make it yourself, do you have the right tools/machines to do so? a hand held drill is not going to "cut" it... no pun intended.

if you dont want it, dont buy it, its that simple.

Im pretty sure they wouldnt fit a FD b/c they are topfed, but maybe if you upgraded the rail at the same time you could switch to them. food for thought

A stock FD uses side feed injectors but if you're going to be using 1600cc injectors most people upgrade at least the secondary rail to get them to fit and I think most of the upgraded secondary rails for FD's out there are top feed rails.

Yes your local ford dealer either stocks them or can order them.

Local Ford dealer will probably have to order them but I don't think they are the same as a 'plain' gasoline powered Crown Vic.

you need to convert your car to natual gas... most taxi cabs use propane or nat gas

but a fluid is just fluid regardless so theinjectors should be ok

I don't know their impedance but I do know that they are greater 1.2 Ohms(each). Otherwise they wouldn't work with my WOLF3D ECU.

Hope that helps.
