How much of a gain would this yield?

I'm looking into squeezing more power out of my S4 N/A, and I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate on how much my planned mods will pick up:

Bonez Superflow Converter System
APEXi Super Ground System (http://apexi-usa.com/news.asp?ID=56)
Dyno-tuned APEXi S-AFC II

My guess is I'll pick up around 10 or 12 ponies with this, and also gain a more linear power curve. Any ideas? Only other mods are HKS intake and sport exhaust.

That's a lot of money/time wasted to get 10 or 12 hp in my opinion...

yea, thats alot of money to spend on 10-12 hp. you might as well go haltech or microtech. it would save you money in the long run.

I'm not entirely sure how much power I could make with the mods, though. I went to the nearest shop that did APEXi power tuning, and they said that with my mods, the S-AFC II would probably pick up around 15 rwhp alone. I also was thinking about the grounding wires because people with very lightly modded vehicles are saying that not only do their electronics seem to work better, but they saw as much as a 5 whp gain. I'm not too sure about that, but I'd get it just to get rid of that 3800 RPM hesitation (really annoying).

What exactly is something like the Michrotech, stand-alone EMS? Do they come pre-configured, and if not, where could I get one set up? Furthermore, what kind of gains could I get just with something like an LT-8?

15rwhp? Not a chance on an NA.

This is true. Should I start another thread in the EM forum about whether to go APEXi S-AFC II or with a standalone?

I wouldn't think there'd be a lot of tuning to do with an NA w/ a standalone..... especially if it had the stock port and fuel system. I could be wrong tho. No harm in asking.

I doubt I really could do much tuning, especially considering the few shops around here. I also find the S-AFC II more appealing because you can swap between to fuel maps, so I could just switch to the stock map when I go in for SMOG in April, then switch right back to the more performance oriented map later. Also, as you mentioned, I'm not running a lot of mods, and I probably won't do much else other than the ground wires and DP/cat until Dave's turbo kit comes out.
