Hey AggieDave,
lol.. wish I could answer your question but I dont know much about these things yet... I was just wondering about ur car. you did a 87 13b swap to a T2? I'm planning to do the same. I was wondering on how much u spent and how many parts u need to replace... and what other mods u have put in to make such big numbers thx

I have not even heard of or seen a 500hp 13b last for over 18k let alone 600hp. What do usually here "Awe my newly street ported single popped on the dyno or while I was tuning it etc etc". Your biggest factor will be tuning. I could almost guarantee you that a seal would break before the engine would wear out.

The almighty Aussies and New Zealanders do unbelievable things to the venerable 13b, but what about here in U.S? Bringing up "Rice's car" is like all the people who say " Yeah 7's run high 10's and low 11's on twins!" Wyum a 10.98 and Anthony 11.1 who else? Yes, it's possible to have 600bhp, but very rare just like running low elevens or high tens on twins.
