Mey Max, is that 30mpg as in 48km per 3.78l or 12.7km/l, or is that 30mpg as in 48km per 4.55l or 10.5km/l?

Think yourself lucky, try paying nearly a £1 a litre. I think that equates to about 8-9 dollors a gallon.

 

Setzep, I like a cut off point of around 26%, my car never exceeds that, If memory serves, I am runn -12 and +5%, but I will have to double check, its been awhile since I had my fingers into it. target voltage is 451mv at idle target voltage is 651mv.
Peejay, I calculate everything in US gallons as I presume that is the standard in the US, we are in litres here, so sometimes the conversion seems to get confusing, my car is about 60 litres from where I like to fill it up from to keep the premix ratios properly calculated and tracked....Max

 

Wow, at 26% throttle I'm in boost. I wish the closed loop cut off point was load determined instead of tps. Do you run closed loop in low amounts of boost or does your car not produce boost untill more throttle than 26%?

 

I agree with the other people on here... if you need to worry about fuel economy, get yourself a nice 1993 Civic Hatchback or something... If you need a "sporty" feel, throw some spinner rims on it.

This guy complains about the gas mileage he gets,and his mileage isnt even THAT bad...

I recently got 12mpg to a Drag meeting.Driving at less than 1/4 throttle @ 80mph.

Try using a whole tank of fuel,just to go 160miles,and do 2 drag runs.

All of us on here drive Rotaries because we like them,not for fuel economy.

Most of my driving is highway, and the FC pulls about 24-26 mpg cruising at 70-75. I'm not complaining. Then again, I don't drive like a maniac.

My gas mileage on my POS 79 with an untuned webber gets 11-12 mpg. earlier this year i had a month where my fuel bill was a little over 400 bux for the month, last year i averaged over 200-250 bux a month. My solution, stopped driving it. I have a t2 swapped fb that gets 18-22 all the time, but i cant drive it down my long drive way or it will ruin it.
so this is what i did, i bought a mazda 323 GTX. Still very sporty little car, 4 wheel drive, 1.6 DOHC turbo, fun car and will hold resale, It gets 20-22 all the time and 28-33 on the highway. when it comes to mileage the piston defenitely does better.

it doesnt really matter to me about fuel costes.. I always be stopping at the fuel station without looking at the prices and fill ups.. My friends always be whinning and bitching about them prices am like "shutups"..

 

Just got back from a 2 day, 1600 mile cross country trip in the fd, TX to NJ. Car ran like a champ, 20-22 mpg cruising at 90 mph the whole way

 

I just drove my 82 gsl from San Francisco to Phoenix and averaged 30 mpg. so the milage cant be that bad. Then again mine is tuned for milage. Its the only 12a ive heard of passing california emissions recently.
