heatsheilds, heat tape, what else? trying to keep cool

I am currently trying to eliminate the superheating of my LIM via my exhaust manifold and turbo.

Ive made a small heatshild that follows the contor of the LIM from its base to the air control valve and am mounting it with small 1/2" spacers.

Now should i put somesort of heatrejectoin tape on the heatshild? what about the LIM its self?

i plan on making a heat shield myself and using that reflective heat shielding material on it on the turbo side of the shield. and wrapping the exhaust and turbo manifold.
