Just what the title says, and if so what are your initial thoughts and impressions?
I'm planning on ordering it next month.

I just got one a few days ago, so its probably a new one. thoguh i dont have an old one the compare it too, it was good, lots of basic knowledge, great to remind you of things you forgot to do. A few tricks in there too, like oil squirters, epoxy 6-port sleeves etc.

I have not seen the atkins rebuild video... But i can say that Bruce Turrentines 13b rebuild video is great...
It helped me and mechanic tremendously in rebuilding my FDs engine in Pakistan..
I have still to see the Atkins video but i do recommend the Bruce Turrentines video

i just got the atkins video last week, and i thought it was really good, maybe just cause it was the first time i have ever seen a rotary engine ripped apart and rebuilt. I thought they could have spent more time on some things rather then watching the entire torquing of the bolts sequence which was kinda a waste of time. But for the most part i got some good info out of it, and i also have the video on order from rotaryaviation.com that i should be getting today or sometime this week. when i get done watching that ill post up again and let you guys know which one i thought was better, ryan

alright well heres my conclusion. well like i said i already watched the atkins video and was waiting on the ones from rotaryavaition.com. I bought both the thrid gen engine R&R video and the 13b overhaul video. The first one i watched was the thrid gen R&R video and i thought it was extremely good if you, like me have never pulled a motor out of a thrid gen. I would definitely recommened buying this if you plan on pulling your motor out yourself with just the service manual, bruce is very in depth with every little thing to make sure you get it out with no problems and have an easy install and he makes sure you dont forget anything in the process that would end up making you pull it back out. He also performs everything with the most basic tools that most of us do-it yourself guys already have. Now about the comparison between the 13b video from both atkins and bruce's. The one from atkins in my opinion doesnt even compare to the video that rotaryavaiton.com sells by bruce. The one from atkins im not saying is not worth buying, if i were you id buy both just like me to get to get as much info as possible. But if you have to go one way or the other go with bruces video. He is EXTREMELY in depth with every single thing you have to do to the 13b, tearing down, cleaning, checking all clearances on EVERYTHING and its so long that i havent finished it and havent watched the last part on reassemble. But I think all three of these videos are excellent but both from rotaryaviation.com are a must buy!!!

yeah I just finished watching the Atkins rebuild video...I've never watched another rebuild video before and I already feel that it is very rushed.
As someone already mentioned, some parts they rush through (they have it on fast forward) and some parts they do tediously.
