The gas gauge on my gsl-se doesn't work. I have tried wiring it a few different ways, but that didn't do anything. Does anyone know what to do?

 

Have you checked to see if the floater in the gas tank was any good? That might be broken or reading incorrectly. Or it may just be the gauge itself that is broken. I have a really weird problem with my gas gauge. It always never worked below half a tank, but I swapped in a 3rd gen fuel pump with floater into my second gen, and it still doesn't work below half tank, but now at least the low fuel light comes on......lol. I think the gauge itself is broken, maybe I should try rewiring it or something.

 

I had to replace my sender in the tank. It was just worn out.
