fuel foam

Hey guys any ideas on the fuel foam that you put in the gas tank to prevent sloshing and fuel starvation?
I was wondering how hard is it to install?
What brand to get?
How many ft^3 do I need?
Any helpful links?

1 Easy. Squash it, stuff it in, let it expand. Big problem with the tank level sensor though, it wants to swing on an arc and your foam will be in the way.

2 It's probably all made in the same factory anyway, no matter who's selling it.

3 How big is your gas tank? Liters, gallons and ft^3 are all units of volume. Some tanks (the FD tank) have internal structure that may make it difficult to get the blocks of foam in every corner of the tank. As long as the foam is all around the pump it should help prevent slosh.

Does any one know if you can get the stuff in a large block, rather than small squares, and cut it to fit so that there was no issue with the float?

Here is a decent thread on fuel starvation and slosh.
