Front mount radiator...?

Ignoring any issues regarding the intercooler, would there be any problems with having the radiator mounted in the same position a FMIC would go?

Sorry meant to post this in the 3rd gen section....its for a FD

Would the extra air flow be benefical or is it pretty good already in the stock position.

Im hoping to lose the IC if the WI set-up im planning is effective enough, if not may go down the charge cooler route, either way I'll be able to move the rad (mainly for increased cooling but will also be an asthetic value to it aswell, nice shiny rad instead of a gaping hole.

aslong as the fan functions properly, then leave it be. too much cooling isnt alwase a good thing.

only thing I could think of was reduced air flow around rest of engine bay, but cant be too much of a prob if all the FMIC guys are ok
