found the problem with the old motor
Ok so I opened up the old motor in my 87 and inspected the rotor housings and side plates. The rotor housings arer toasted deep groove along the edges of the rotor housings (typical of a shitty 13bt). I removed the shitty coolant seals and found this... YUK How the **** did that happen? What caused that steel to crack off like that? Ive never seen that before....

Accually thats more common than you would think. I heard it is caused from a weak casting. I would think it would also be cause from using the coolant for too long causing it to corrode. I bet that thing blew ALOT of white smoke.
