Flooding issues/programing/Cranking starter

I haven't read the Factory manual completely as yet but I have noticed that my FD will stop pulsing the primary #1 rotor injector after about 5 seconds of cranking if the engine fails to start. Then after 2 seconds it will begin again, that fact seems to be unclear. If you stop cranking and start again the injector pulses once again for its 5 seconds or so and off again. Is this in the programing? Is it for the flooding issues??

So what to look for, starter signel from the starter to the PCM, TPS is there a wide open signel getting to the PCM. lose connection some where. the list can just can go on for ever
