first time at the strip
I ran my fd for the first time last night at Englishtown. First run I had trouble staging. I went passed the sensor and by the time I backed up and was properly staged the tree began counting down so I wasn't ready. I left on the green and ran a 13.4 @109. Boost was at 13psi. For the 2nd run I turned the boost up to 15psi. I launched a bit better but when I shifted to 2nd I spun bad and kicked out the tail. I had to left off for a second untill it staightened out, and got a shitty 14.1 @109. Last run was the best. As luck had it I was up against a black Z06 Vette with Fikse FM/5 wheels. He gave me a weird smirk. I did a nice brake stand burnout this time, and maybe it helped grip somewhat. I'm still running street tires though. I launched at about 3500, grabbed and bogged for a second, then boost built and I took off. I was about evewn with the vette. By the 1/8th mile I was stating to inch ahead. By the end of the 1/4 I had about 2-3 cars on him. I managed a 13.1 @113 on that run vs his 13.4 @109. I was hopping to get well into the 12s, but this was my first time at the track and I was pretty satisfied. Plus my friend got the run on video. I just need to practice lauching. I'll probably go again next Wednsday.

I think it's every .1 second off your 60 foot time you take off .2 secs off your 1/4 so if you could get a 2.0 then your time could get around 12.1. With drags you could be in high 11's easily - a lot of practice to launch that powerful FD
