I took my bone stock rex to the track about 2 months ago and ran an awful e.t. cause I was throwin belts. But, my mph was impressive at 86mph. My focus will run 16.6@81mph, so I know it can get at least a 16.3 out of my rex. I hope.......She is going back to the track in about a month.

No the time of 14.5 is about right with the N2O, maybe lower even. Depends on alot of things though.

hows this sound

RT .7333
60' 2.3386
330' 6.7549
1/8 et 10.4645
1/8 MPH 65.92
1000 et 13.6617
1/4 et 16.3719
1/4 MPH 83.28

With all my mods I should be running faster than this,
I think I have low compression but haven't tested yet.
I have also noticed that the better reaction time you get the slower ETs you will have. For instance I managed to get a .5693 RT but but 1/4 et was a 16.6245.

I think I may just buy a 13b from the local junkyard they only have the 86-88 but I could, use the housing bearings, ect.....
I'm straped for cash so I have to do it this way

I can get the short block setup for $150

We ran our TII at the $2002 Challenge last Sunday. From memory this is what we ran.

'60 1.982
ET 13.425
Trap speed 104.35 mph (also ran a 105.5 trap but the time was 13.468)

Mods are 2.25" HKS dp 3" straight pipe off a old HKS pre-silencer, $29.98 ARC air filter on the stock inlet duct and a RB FCD. Running stock spares in front, 225/50/16 Kuhmos on the rear. Otherwise it is lightened to about 2500lbs when it ran, looks mostly stock from the outside.
