I would think it was forcefed7's car. I think he ran 9s driving to and from the track with power steering, cruise etc...

Tony from T and R Racing has a low 10sec street 3rd gen, drives all the time to and from the track.

Since we are on the topic of street cars. I think the fastest street car i know belongs to Albert Diaz, he has a new model silver supra.

Runs mid 9s on street tires (drag radials) and his mph in the quarter is just about 150MPH. Imagine seeing a car on the NJ turnpike with a parachute on the back!

Yeah Ray's car is the fastest I've heard of.

I believe he ran a 9.80 at 142 mph, with full interior and all that good ****

Ray Wilson has the fastest "street" car. Ari's car has an aftermarket tranny and its the farthest thing from street. Ray has went 9's mulitple times.

When you say "street" car, are you talking stock chassis, DOT tires, full interior, etc, or are you talking about anything that is street-registered regardless of mods? Because there are "street legal" cars in Puerto Rico and Australia that run high 8's

Exactly.

I would say street car =

full interior,
non-seq tranny,

Actually driven to the street. Not a trailer queen,
I would say Tony from T&R's 1st gen is a good candidate,

Yea, there is a BIG difference between most of the cars in the "street" class and something you would actually want to drive every day to work.

What exactly are you looking for?

Also, there arent many RX7's left that are actually street LEGAL. That requires full emmissions and hardly no mods.

Hi Michael

That is crazy performance but I would like to remind people that the thread asks "Fastest Street RX7"

So who has the fastest? Forget about Wheel tubs and **** like that, closest to stock chassis as possible with usual mods when running drags, slicks/droped exhaust/race gas etc.

Oh yeah, list type of tranny used too. interested to see results for RX7's

There is a red 1st gen rx7 from australia with the plates "Roda 7" that ran a 9.93 @ 142 mph. I dont think it is exactly street legal but it is registered. Using a 13bt, Ta45, supra 5 speed, 9 inch etc...untubbed

Really, that would mean you have the highest MPH untubbed car in Australia, and you drive it every day!

Ray (PFS) has stock trans, stock rear, 2 rotor, full interior, etc....

Like I said 9.8@142 I think. Search for "forcefed7"

I too vote for Ray Wilson (PFS). That car is as "street" as it can be. AC, full interior, all glass, stock trans, stock rear.

(None of the cars mentioned however, will pass emissions testing so if that's a part of "legal", I nominate me, another PFS creation. Into the 11s shortly and still running a cat)

In Australia it would be RODA7 (Dysons) its run a 9.93 @ 141 MPH with C16 and dropped pipes , Honarable mention to AJC13b (Mazsport?) thats run 10.3 @132 MPH, FREKNU (Rotorworx) 10.24 @ 144 (!!!!) MPH , there's also a guy up north (QLD) thats run 10.0 with roller turbo in streetish trim

Fastest untubbed RX7 in Aus would be Phil Armenko (Dysons/Geelong tune ups) thats run 9.27 @ 150 + MPH , allthough with Jerrico etc

Mines in the Build at the moment @ Rotorworx in Melbourne , im hoping to be a contender shortly
