Not sure if the mod is the same for a 2nd gen as it is for a 3rd gen, but i assume it would be.
Removed the stock mechanical fan from the front of the engine. (mounted on with 4 bolts - 10mm) you will need to use a regular type flat wrench for this.
Buy a high flow slim fitting electric fan (such as a SPAL fan) and mount that to the back of your radiator. don't know how to hook it up to wiring though
