Dual Apex seal springs....
I was wondering what are the pros and cons to a dual apex seal springs setup and if its gonna be worth my while on a 2mm 2 peice seal setup. I have heard of people doing this on 3mm seal setups just wondering any info is going to be helpful thanks.

it just keeps more tension on the apex seal to do it's job. i thought about doing a dual spring setup on my 12A project, but the disadvantage to putting dual springs where they weren't before (on 3mm engines) is it potentially wears the rotor housings faster than "normal". if you're not starting with brand new rotor housings, i don't think the risk is worth it for an engine you plan to keep together for a while. for a race-only engine, well i guess it's up to you. machining will be involved ...

yes... its just going to wear your housings faster. i would only use it on a race application! you also have to look at what seals your going to use with this... using atkins would eat the seals up and using a seal like RA's would rip up the housings ultra fast. i guess you just have too look at what your building but in my opinion you really dont want to do this.
