Drag racing, help please!!!

Here is my best run:
r/t .515
60' 1.772
330 5.183
1/8 7.839
MPH 94.87
1000 10.127
1/4 12.026
mph 119.50

I had Nitto DR, and Apexi turbo with all the mods.
My question is: Without any other mod, can I get in low 11s?
And if YES, about where?
Thanks
DAN

Re: Drag racing, help please!!!

Sounds like your car is running pretty good after the tuning. You can do a little better if you go with M/T ET streets. You should be able to get high 1.5's 60' which will shave off an extra three tenths off that time. I think you can also improve your shifting and shifting point since your 1/8mph should probably be around 98-99mph if you were running 19psi of boost. Mid to low 11 is definately possible.

W/ a trap speed of 119 you can get into the 11's. What rpms are you launching?

Makes me feel good running 12.3 with stock turbos and only a 1.9 60 foot! 93,000 miles on stock original motor and to top it of with a hks-fcon!!!

My trap speed was only 108, so I know with your 119 its no problem to hit those mid 11's!!!

You ran a 12.3@108? Were you on slicks? Seems like a rather low trap speed for such a good time. I have ran a 13.3@108 a while ago but a 12.3, damn!

YEAH! Thats what all my buddies said that were at the track that night. Seems the way the track is set up that allot of people start brakeing before the trap lights. So maybe I could have done better. My 1/8 mile time was 7.89 around 91 mph(i think). I was on et drags but did no burn out to get them sticky as I am afraid I will break the rearend. I just rode the clutch out slowly. I also ran a 12.6 at 114 earlier??? Was kind of weird.

Dan you should be launching higher than that. I know it's kinda scary but I launch at red line.
