Dowel Pin Puller

Is there any other way to remove them then buying the tool, i mean $140 for a one time use... Please help me get it done without the tool....

140! wow I just got a metric bolt for 50 cents that fits inside then welded it to a coupler nut
that fits my slide hammer so i can slide hammer out the hard to remove ones.
the rest just pull out by hand.
