Did you got overboost with your N-tech high flow Cat?

Greetings,

I wish to purchase a N-tech high flow Cat for my FD.
Did you got some overboost or boost creep with
the unit?? How much does it flows??

Thanks
Serge

I didn't- I had the Bonez high flow which looks to be about the same as the N-tech. The N-tech may be a bit shorter and so may flow a little better.

As for flow, the only measured data I have is with the cat I made 313rwhp. With the cat hollowed out I made 317rwhp. Keep in mind that a hollowed out cat doesn't flow as well as a midpipe. So maybe you can assume a 1-2% loss using a highflow cat vs. a midpipe.

A highflow cat does really flow better than the stock cat, but I don't have measured data for the improvement. The highflow also will make the exhaust sound a little louder.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to be concerned about creep unless you have a midpipe. My profec B cured my spiking problem.
