Devcon....what type for my 12a pp?

I am nearly through with the exhaust ports on my 12a pp project so it's almost time to fit the aluminum intake pipes and fill around them with Devcon epoxy.
Do I want the Devcon "aluminum liquid" or the Devcon "aluminum putty?"
I assume either would work but I prefer feedback from someone who would know.

When filling the stock side housing intake ports, I used Devcon liquid. It is fairly thick at room 65 degree room temp.

I haven't tried Devcon putty, but I have used other brands of epoxy putty, and they were so thick that I didn't have confidence in mixing well. Since you are trying to make a leak tight seal, I would worry that the putty wouldn't flow everywhere needed.

I bought my PP rotor housings from Nick at Rotary Reliability & Racing in Santa Anna Calif. From the smooth finish on the epoxy around the intake tubes, I think he used the liquid to seal them. Nick has been at rotaries for a long time. Nick claims he is the person who thought of using steel filled Devcon to fill stock Iron housing side ports. In 1984 Nick set a Bonneville land speed record with his PP 13B car.
