Cut up rotor pics

So I was in a mood at the shop today and an S4 rotor got in my way. I had always wondered what a couple areas in the rotor looked like and now I know. Here are a few shots showing the areas at the apex seals and middle of the side of the 'triangle'. If anybody wants another cut made let me know and I'll fire up the bandsaw again

there are some good pictures out there allready of it but it might be cool for you to show people is cutting the whole thing in half. so you can see the oil passages shapes.

I'll cut lengthwise tomorrow. We'll see if they look like the Renesis rotors inside.

I finally got over to the "game room" and finished off the blade in the saw! I had to cut only halfway because I was running out of teeth on the blade but here is a couple pics. The one that looks like a ful rotor is just the cut out piece flipped to fill in the triangle.

There is something you might not be able to see that I found interesting. Under the area that the factory bores out to balance there is a circle of extra material. If youlook closely at the picture that looks like a whole rotor you can see the circles that are about 1" in dia. I didn't get a chance to measure how much extra is there but don't go lightening the area and figure you can go as deep as the big holes might be! I'll measure the extra tomorrow.

Wow. I've been tempted to do something like that before, but never got around to it
