custom 13b project

well ive decided i want to custom build/piece together a 13b for my next beater(fc). i wanna use the 13b-re rotor housings, probably the 13b n/a irons, 13b rew rotors, and carbon(black) 3mm 1 piece apex seals and the rotary aviation seal kit. the water pump and oil pump will probably come from autozone but im not sure which ones i should use? will all of this stuff go together easily or will machining be required for ne of it? thanks for the input

That seems like a very poorly planned list.

RE rotor housing exhaust ports flow terrible. REW or TII rotor housings are far superior.

If you plan to keep it N/A, you should run N/A rotors, which would make sense with carbon apex seals.

If you plan to run it turbo, then you would want to run lower compression rotors, such as the FD rotors, but then you DEFINITELY would not want to run carbon apex seals.

There is no point in using 3mm carbon apex seals anyway. The only reason to ever use a thicker apex seal is for resistance to detonation, and carbon desintegrates on detonation. You would want to run 2mm apex seals for better sealing, and they would fit into a 86-up rotor without any machining.

Lastly, you mention this as a beater... which implies a s street car. You would NOT want to run carbon apex seals in a street car.

How about: REW rotor housings, S5 N/a rotors, N/A irons, stock 2-piece 2-mm apex seals. This makes more sense.

Yeah I agree^^

Give us some more details on what your plans are for the motor/car.
ie: turbo, n/a, 6port irons or 4port, engine management, hp goals?

FYI the 13B REW rotors are the same weight and compression ratio as the S5 T2 rotors
