I have a 1981 1st gen series 2 and i wanna know how i cna mod the intake for better performance (pref, a cold air system) where cna i get one, what would be the best exhaust choice and any other easy mods.

try taking a look in the Gen I section for some ideas with your car. the guys there are pretty helpful and usually quite pleasant. we have our share of ******, but you can't escape them.

basically, any cold air systems you're going to put on your car will have to be custom made. making one that's really effective is a waste (just my opinion) because unless you've optimized the engine already and exhausted all other upgrades, your time and money can go elsewhere.

for you exhaust needs. i recommend a full Racing Beat system. you won't be sorry.
