coil boot type for custom plug wires

Looks like I am going to have to make custom plug wires for my new coil location. What style do the boots need to be on the coil side of the wire? There were a few... HEI & socket.

Also since the stock boots are 90º, is there such thing as a straight boot? It would make the wires run a little smoother.

You need socket style. HEI style ends are the same as a spark plug.

Thanks for the info... I was just about to buy those. I ended up calling magnecor and they said something like normal socket ends aren't deep enough to fit on the RX-7 coils. So I had them make me a set, just gave them the length I needed.
