cant stop rail from leaking

I have tried numerous times and still no luck. I have tried 3 different sealents, about 10 different adapters and nipples. So far I have used tefflon liquid, tefflon tape, and some kind of blue **** that doesnt dry. Im seriously thinking about giving up and selling the car as is(pos). My car has been down a extra month becuase of my fuel rail problem. I have eliminated pulsation damper and the banjo bolt. Can anybody give me any advice to what to do now? Does anybody ,make aluminum fittings? I was thinking of maybe going that way and have everything welded together. Please help me.I

See if he can fix what you have with out redoing the complete thing. If he did the system he will need the car . maybe he can fix the one leak .

just an idea, but can you just swap out the fuel rail for a oem one, then do the eliminated pulsation damper mod?

Talk to Keith of Keith's rails. He is knowledgable and very helpful. If you really get stuck I'm sure he would be willing look at your parts for a nominal fee.

I know what you're going through though. I did it 2 weekends ago and didn't get it right on the first try.

Here are the pointers I was given:
-use a couple layers of teflon tape (I was using one)
-make sure the tape is wrapped so that it doesn't come un-done as you tighten the fitting.
-when the fitting starts getting tight turn another 1/2 to 3/4 turn max. Tightening beyond this point does not improve the seal

haha, I fixed it a while back. I had brian at bnr to fix it so it would work till dyno day. He used a liad(I think thats what there called) and fabricated some aluminum adapters and welded them in the rail, he did the primary the same way.
It worked so I was happy for a little while and then the looks of it started to bother me. So when I can come up with the money to buy a new one I will do so.
I tried teflon tape but no luck, the thread were very weak. It came to the point where you could turn the npt adapter all the way in . Thanks though, Im sure this will help some newb in the future.
