Can I block off the heater lines? (front and rear)

i don't use my heater anymore, so i have the heater coolant line just bypassing the heater, plugged into the line on the firewall, and then running back into the back driver side of the motor.

i was talking to Steve Kan last night, and i'm pretty sure he said it would be fine to just plug it up, but it was late, i'd had a few beers, and i just want to make sure i see it in writing! haha

anyway, just trying to make the car even more simple to work on since i'm not using the heater anymore. but i just want to make sure that that is not a really important line or anything.

thanks,

harrison
