I agree. I've always seen improvments after doing a good burnout. Pro stock style might be a bit much though

i have to say that from experience that doing a decent burnout will help. I have a 89 n/a and I was launching at 4500 and getting on the brake to smoke them. Then next time i did it they hooked and I bogged the engine. I have a 205/55 and it was the cheapest tire i could get from the store.
