BP Engines?
Has anyone out there ever run a BP or PB engine in a T2 with stock ecu still fitted?
I know its not going well over the limits of the stock ecu but with a pump and 2 extra Injectors would it run? or would it just run wrong Timing etc until it blew? I would like to point out this is more for my own intrest than any thing else.
Thanks.

soul's car is a piggyback on a stock ECU
It would work, sorta... the AFM system will meter fuel in relation to actual amount of air ingested, so A/F ratios would be close, but you'd run out of fuel real quick. Put in bigger injectors and it'd run pig rich and you'd need a way to lean it out, meaning piggyback fuel computer. Assuming that at some point the AFM doesn't simply go wide-open and stop giving meaningful info to the computer (sort of like going over a MAP sensor's max pressure). And then you still have done nothing about timing!
I'm crazy enough to give it a try, but I'd want to do it on a non turbo engine. (Hey, it'd probably work too!)

Is this boost related? what i mean if it is running 2psi of boost for example could it be run? as it would not need so much fuel for the air.
I thought the Timing was'nt that much diffrent to a Big Extended port?
This is all theory i would like to point out i have a Haltech E6k with std Primarys, 1200 Secondrysand a big pump.

I don't think boost would be a factor... I mean, with big enough ports, you could run out of fueling without even having a turbo (T2 system good to ~250hp right?) so you'd need bigger injectors unless you only want to make 250hp, in which case you're only going to need either the turbo or the BP but not both...
