boost drop

boost drop

my boost gage drops whan i let off the gas. it drops fast and than stays in the - untill i push the gas again. why is it doing that? is sumthing leaking? and help would be great.

That is how it is supposed to work. You get boost when you are on the gas, and then when you close the throttle the engine still wants to eat some air, but the closed throttle plates resitrict the flow and create a vacuum between the engine and the throttle that shows up on your boost/vac gauge. You car is behaving as it should based on your report of what the boost gauge is showing under different throttle conditions.
