Probably 4 or so years ago, I had a 12a factory housing peripheral port. It had the "D" style port. I had the mazda comp. race rotors that had around 2lbs shaved off of them, (They have a different style of combustion chamber...just like the 13B ones.) with beveled edges. I don't know how much hp they'll add, but the motor reved like a 2 stroke engine. It revved incrediably fast. Well, I'm shure the aluminum flywheel, 3 puck solid hub clutch, and the pressure plate that had 2lbs shaved off of it helped too. Thinking back the motor was a little peaky. CJ

I read about this in the last issue of turbo mag, where they discussed rotors. They pictured a rotor and claimed XS engineering expected it to improve the air/fuel ratio?
Doesn't seem to make much sense, mind you, the entire article was full of flaws.
