Best IC for T04E...

Best IC for T04E...

I was wondering out of the different types of IC's which one would be best for T04E configuration....

most people go with a Greddy or Apex'i for a single turbo.

I would like to know some of the good and bad things about each FMIC set up....
I would like first hand accounts from some of the people that have choose different FMIC's for there 2nd gens???

I've used the Greddy FMIC on 2 cars. It definitely works very well(noticed a big difference with the same boost after installation on my old TII) , but the piping is pretty convoluted.

I put one on my convertible when it had the 89-91 turbo, but I had to re-do the piping to accomodate my T-78, and it works much better now--made the piping run on each side of the car. My intake temperatures usually don't go much above 20 degrees over ambient.

I would say that your best bet would be to buy a custome core with endtanks and make your own piping. That should yield the best results.

Does the diameter of the piping plan a major factor???
What size is best???
