Travel arrangements....
Next year I want to go to the US and PR to see the worlds quickest rotors, but I need some help.
WHAT EVENTS DO I GO SEE??
I have looked on www.importdrag.com, www.nira.com and www.nhraimport.com to see what the schedules are like for 2002. My aim date is October/November. NIRA had no schedules on their site for 2002 so these plans don't include any of their events! Anyone have a schedule?
I plan to have 5 weeks annual leave so here is plan# 1:
October 5-6 NHRA event at Old Bridge NJ
Down to PR for 10 days or so.
October 19-20 for IDRC East Coast Finals at Maple Grove PA
October 26-27 for NHRA event at Pomona CA
Go to Scotland for 2 weeks to see the family.
Then to Texas for the IDRC Longhorn Nationals Nov 9-10.
Plan# 2:
October 19-20 for IDRC East Coast Finals at Maple Grove PA
October 26-27 for NHRA event at Pomona CA
Scotland for 2 weeks
November 9-10 for LongHorn Nats at River City TX
Pr for 10 days
November 23-24 2002 IDRC International Finals at LACR.
But from what I have read in other posts, not to many of the quick guys will be in the IDRC comp next year?
Between meets and what have you I would like to go see some of the big workshops, drop down and see Crispeed . I want to pack as much into the time as possible. Anyone have any other suggestions? Any big meets that would be good to see that I have missed?
Anyone want to put me and my g/f up for a couple of days???
Please don't move this into the lounge! All the people that know about these things are in here!!
THANKS GUYS!!!

The Rotary Expo is put on by http://www.mscw.com/
and located at VIR in Virgina - http://www.virclub.com
Usualy it is Labor day weekend (Aug 31-Sep1) , but MSCW has not released the date yet or the track for that matter, as I seen on VIR Schedule there is a Rolex event.
so possibly it might be held back at Summit Point http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com/
So it to is not set in stone as of yet
also, I think we should all pitch in and have your car shipped over to one of the events
