questions fellas

im thinkin of using megasquirt2 v3.0 on an s5 t2 engine.. whats the highest saturated injector size.. i definitely need to go bigger in secondaries bc im going to be boosting about 1 bar with a t04e... what injector setup do you recommend for this?? thanks!

kk ...starting from scratch I see ... combos are endless but I'd look to get something around 850s/1000s ...

4 large injectors are a little harder to work with since it will be harder to get fine adjustments via large injectors. I would suggest if you go with larger primaries, to just stick with about 720cc/min injectors and work with about 1200cc/min secondaries. Realistically, that should be more than enough fuel assuming you have a pump behind them that can handle the flow.
Smaller primaries, easier to tune daily driving/smoother and possibly better gas milage.

my suggestion

im running 550/1000cc w/60-1hifi.
if you go to www.rx7.com they have a fuel calculator that will give you a idea of how much HP each different injector combo will give you.

You may have trouble finding high Z injectors that big. An option is to use low Z injectors with one of these in series with each injector: http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea...974832&Site=US

I've been using this setup for over 25K miles with no trouble. Inj opening time is .8ms, the resistance does not slow opening time in my observation and contrary to common belief. 5 ohms is a good place to start. The factory also used this scheme (later second gens?? Roger or Ken you out there?) and one of those resistor packs would probably work just fine as well.

The factory used resistor packs in 86 thru 87.5 when they switched to high impedance injectors. It's mounted under the AFM on the n/a cars.

I used a Honda resistor pack when converting my SA to efi. The Honda resistor pack is a nicely packaged unit, and is found at any auto wreckers.

With improper config and/or choice of injectors you can easily reach 100% (injectors on all the time). Bad thing, there. You really don't want to exceed 85% or there abouts if you want consistent fueling. This is not an ECU issue, it's an injector choice and/or an ECU configuration issue.
