Question best exhaust for 3rd gen 7

I'm looking into buying an ATR ($695) exhaust for my seven, anyone know of any better exhaust than the ATR? Please hit me back with suggestions.

Checkout the Apex-i N1. Have it on my FD. Purchased on The Store when it was on sale.

If you don't care about noise then get the Apex Gt. The N1 is a step lower in noise but not as free flowing. If you have mucho dinero and don't care about noise at all then the HKS Titanium is a good choice. Quiet and ok in terms of performance then the M2 Dual or the Greddy systems.

al900rr, what do you mean by dont care about noise for apexi gt. Is the sound bad? too loud?
Which exhaust has the best sound, not fart, like a nice sound?

the apexi GT is loud, especially if you have gotten rid of the precat or cat. i sacrified a little bit of power, but i am extremely satisfied with the tone on my racing beat dual tip.

I just ordered my racing beat dual tip cb...waiting to get it. They said 3-4 weeks but that was before all the planes were grounded. I don't know how long it will take.

Thumbs up Get the Apexi Gt-Spec

Absolutely one of the best exhaust you can buy for your money. If you have $$$ go for the HKS Hiper titanium.

Reasons for the HKS Hiper titanium because it is light weight and because it is straight through 4" piping for good high end horspower. You don't need the mid pipe anymore since the HKS pipe bolt on from your downpipe all the way back. Or you can go with the GT-Spec cost half the price and it is a full stainless steel exhaust system. It has 2.5" outlet to a full 3.75" and it also comes with the silencer for noise reduction also has good high end horsepower.

The HKS Hiper titanium will cost you about $1250, only the titanium comes with 4" piping and it is the only exhaust in the market that offer 4" piping for the 3rd gen. You can purchase them at www.mvpmotorsports.com they have a good price on them.

I meant that if you're not concerned with noise levels then the GT spec is a good choice. The HKS titanium is basically a straight pipe. I have a N1 Dual and the decibal level at redline is intoxicating.

I have the Greddy GT Spec, but I will soon switch to the Apexi N1. I like the looks of that and the noise that it permits. I have heard that the Bliz system is pretty nice.

Trust evolution II. I don't think you can even buy it? not sure. I saw it in turbo once, and my car has it because the guy i bought it off of had connections! so a downpipe, midpipe, and trust evolution II. it shoots nice flames too. no where near st. legal so don't even try. I ran it through inspection a little rich just so i could pick up a temp. tag in my state. The legal limit is 220 hydrocarbons, i had 2356, over 1000%! Go figure. you can smell it for a mile. In turbo magazine they had a downpipe, high flow cat, and the trust muffler, and it passes emission. If i find time i'll try that, but i'll just throw the stock stuff back on for know and get it through.

I think that's the one, it says 4" but it also says steel it's about $1200.

Can you remove the resonated midpipe on the Hyper titanium so you can swap on a cat to pass emissions?

I have a Greddy TR Evolution for my T88 setup, it comes with a tip silencer similar to the APEXi GT-Spec exhaust, I'll let you guys know what it sounds like as soon as I get everything installed. BTW this exhaust also comes with a resonated midpipe and is made to be used with the T88 kit from Greddy, and it's connected by v band type clamps.
