Back from the track with new numbers !
Just just got back from Atco where they held the RX7 vs Supras....
My 1st pass I ran with EVC off....12.2x @ 112mph
2nd run @ 1.07kg/cm2:
60ft=1.806
330=4.943
1/8=7.494 @96.38mph
990=9.647
1/4=11.562 @ 119.28mph
3rd run @ 1.08kg/cm2
60ft=1.765
330=4.956
1/8=7.515 @96.31mph
990=9.672
1/4=11.59 @ 122.12 mph
Managed to get booted not once but twice !!! just couldn't let that Supra beat me
All runs on Nittos NT555 drags.

THANKS !
Boost numbers are as follow:
Run#1= 10.5psi (EVC off)
run#2= 1.07kg/cm2 or 15.2psi
run#3= 1.08kg/cm2 or 15.3 psi
boost numbers are what PowerFC shows as max....not sure if its off...but looks about right when comparing to autometer boost gauge.
I was running on 93 octane with nice cold weather

its all about the driver and tuning.... boostn7 knows what he is doing! this is his daily driver too i have a T78 and i'm jealous of his timeslips and his driving skills
driving skill can shave anywhere from .1 to a whole second off an ET at the track. i will again congratulate boostn7. i can't wait to see him run 10's on stock engine and turbo's

121 or 122 is what AnthonyNYC ran back in the day, I think it was at 17psi but if you recorded the boost from the pfc is was prob low, most everyone reports it being 1-2psi lower that thier boost gauge. Not that you can watch it real close when your going that fast lol
Congrats on the awsome mph!!!
BTW - Anthony's 121-122mph run was on slicks and was good for a 11.1 et so you have enough power to really get it down there with slicks. You should be making somewhere between 380-400rwhp.
I'm starting to wonder why we even get porting, you just ran 122 on stock ports and ErnieT just ran 10.7 (cant remember the mph) on stock ports......thats amazing!!!

porting lets you run lower boost..... less wear and tear on the engine, turbo, etc my car for instance when it was tuned on the dyno 413rwhp @ 13psi. that is like ZERO strain on the engine or turbo
boostn7's car has just about every bolt on. full exhuast, fmic, pfc, etc

Thanks guys
I know there's a few that think I may have Nos or other.....it's all simple bolt-ons.
Here's a list:
-Stock motor(50k) and non-seq turbos
-Greddy PE catback, midpipe and downpipe
-Greddy 3 row front mount intercooler (big difference)
-Greddy pulleys and air filter
-Apexi powerFC w/ commander tuned with FJO wideband
-Crane HI-6 ignition amplifier
-Clutchnet 6 puck clutch
-NGK 11 plugs
-87-88 TurboII Diff guts
-Nittos NT555 drag tires
-Exxon 93 gas
Boost on that 11.59 @122.12mph pass peaked out @ 1.08kg/cm2 which equals 15.36psi......*but* I tested the PowerFC vs a HKS boost gauge and here's the results:
PSI= kg/cm2
2=.10
4=.25
5=.31
6=.39
8=.51
10=.65
12=.78
14=.92
15=.99
16=1.06
17=1.13
17.5=1.15 >> which max for stock map sensor
This was done with pressure pump with stock map sensor and HKS boost gauge "T" together.
I'm too impressed with the results from this car.....makes me feel like I was doing something wrong with my Turbo II

Sorry.....
I left out the fuel side
-850cc x4
-Walbro 255ltr intank fuel pump
I think that's it....
with the 3 row Greddy FM intake temps were rock solid low and car gained 4mph in the 1/4 easily at same boost

So your only running 4 850's and making around 380-400 rwhp, what kinda of a/f ratio are you running at wot and what inj duty cyc you getting???

Hmm. That is intriguing. I like the idea of adding 2 more 850's. I the 2 850's replacing the 550's are stock? Are they blueprinted or anything like that from RC engineering?

Yep, 4x 850cc.....oem MAzda injetors.
I simply shaved the top of the primary rail to allow the shorter 850cc injectors to sit lower and seal. tested it to make sure it did not leak and changed it on the PowerFC.
Car cruises with A/F's of 13.5-14.5 and under boost:
9psi= 12.5 A/F
11psi= 12.0 A/F
13psi= 11.75
14psi= 11.5
16psi=11.-11.2
Inj duty @ 15-16psi was hitting ~80%
I may have to pay more attention to duty cycle @16-17psi...it may be over the edge.
